Coastal Navigation

Prerequisites: None.    At the end of this class, you'll be able to demonstrate the navigational theory required to safely navigate a sailing vessel in coastal or inland waters.  You'll study chart reading, plotting a course, dead reckoning, current, tides and leeway. This is a 'classroom only' class.  $425 per person, includes a DVD, textbook, workbook and a practice chart.  Sign-up with a $100 deposit.
